ABOUT:
In light of the new administration and it’s recent actions, we as members of this community must stay vigilant. I’ve created this group to invite all members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies to make out in front of Trump Towers in NYC. It is meant to be an intersectional celebration and amplification of marginalized voices. Official date pending. President Trump insists he stands for the LGBTQ+ community, the LGBTQ+ community stands for the fair and just treatment of all underprivileged groups. President Trump, if you are truly for us, then listen to us! (Make out partner not required, and all allies welcome!)

TIME/LOCATIONS:
The event will start promptly at 1pm, with a meeting point at 61st and Central Park West (Near Trump International Hotel).

Around 2pm, our group will head east on Central Park South to the second location of the event.

NYPD will very kindly be helping the event and the march take place (along with identified helpers), and will set up a place for us near Trump Towers to hold the rema inder of the protest (the make-out!)

The makeout is set to end at 3pm, from there everyone may disperse and go about their day knowing the powerful statement that they helped to make.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
This protest is peaceful and law-abiding. We do not condone any forms of road disruption, violence, hate-speech, or public sexual misconduct of any kind. Any people committing these acts are NOT affiliated with this protest and should be politely asked to leave.

ABOUT

We are Blunderbuss Magazine, a web magazine of arts, culture, and politics, an ordnance of fire and improvisation. What ties together these essays, stories, poems, photographs, comics, and other bits of aesthetic shrapnel is a common attitude of visceral humanism. We aim for earnest noise. We want to splash in the mud of lived experience, to battle for a radical empathy, and to provide a megaphone to howling assertions of human subjectivity.
