Seldon Yuan is a poet and artist living and working Brooklyn, New York. He received a BHA at Carnegie Mellon University and his MFA in Visual Art at Hunter College. He is currently completing new visual poems and a second book of poetry during his residency at the Center for Book Arts in New York. His art has been exhibited nationally and internationally in various galleries and venues including the MoMA in New York, International Center of Photography, Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, Arario Gallery, Rare Gallery, La Generale in Paris, Gallerie 69 in Oslo, Norway, Around Space in Shanghai, and the Museum of New Art in Detroit. He was recently included in the Bronx Museum of Art AIM Biennial and has also completed a commission for Socrates Sculpture Park as an Emerging Artist Fellow.
