Interested in opposing Trump’s agenda through grassroots political action? Learn how at Activist Bootcamp with Indivisible Nation BK, a Brooklyn-based group of concerned citizens working together to block and speak out against extremism in the presidential administration. Using the Indivisible Guide as our inspiration, we will teach you how lobby your elected representatives to oppose Trump and to fight for democratic values.

Highlights include organizing call floods and letter-writing campaigns, using social media to amplify your message, getting meetings with your elected representatives, building your own activist team and delegating responsibilities within your own group.

As we follow the Indivisible Guide, a well-known handbook for constituent activism assembled by a team of former congressional staffers, we strongly encourage to all participants to take a look at it before our meeting.

ABOUT

We are Blunderbuss Magazine, a web magazine of arts, culture, and politics, an ordnance of fire and improvisation. What ties together these essays, stories, poems, photographs, comics, and other bits of aesthetic shrapnel is a common attitude of visceral humanism. We aim for earnest noise. We want to splash in the mud of lived experience, to battle for a radical empathy, and to provide a megaphone to howling assertions of human subjectivity.
