Emergency rally to Stand with Standing Rock!

Calling all NYC high school students! Millennials! Anyone who supports indigenous sovereignty and wants to have a planet to live on!

Standing Rock is under attack NOW. On Februrary 22nd at 2:00PM(Central) the government will clear the Oceti Sakowin Camp at Standing Rock and many don’t have time to move and will be evicted forcefully.

Tomorrow is our time to act and we call on you to stand with us!

Starting at 1:00PM (Eastern) NYC high school students will be gathering at Foley Square outside of the Army Corps of Engineers to rally for Standing Rock and to call on NYC to #DeFundDAPL and divest from all fossil fuels. Join us!

Bring your signs! Bring your chants! Bring your love!

And learn more about divestment at www.defunddapl.org

ABOUT

We are Blunderbuss Magazine, a web magazine of arts, culture, and politics, an ordnance of fire and improvisation. What ties together these essays, stories, poems, photographs, comics, and other bits of aesthetic shrapnel is a common attitude of visceral humanism. We aim for earnest noise. We want to splash in the mud of lived experience, to battle for a radical empathy, and to provide a megaphone to howling assertions of human subjectivity.
