Alejandro is a writer based in New York. He holds an MPH from the University of Washington. His work has appeared in the New Republic, the Brooklyn Eagle, the Southampton Review, Pariahs (an anthology, SFA Press, 2016), and has received honorable mention from Glimmer Train Press (May/June Short Story Award for New Writers, 2016). Alejandro is an Associate Editor at Apogee Journal. He is currently working on a collection of short stories, tentatively titled The First 200 Years of Eduardo.
