In this short documentary, a pair of filmmakers trace the aftermath of deadly drone strike in Pakistan.
Malik Noor Khan doesn’t know why his father was killed in a CIA-initiated drone strike. Gul Rao Khan, who lost a brother in the same blast, has a guess: “When people gather, the US attacks.” On March 17, 2011, tribal leaders and their aides gathered to settle a local mining dispute. At least 42 of those attending the jirga were killed. In this documentary, Madiha Tahir and Messiah Rhodes take us on the ground in the tribal areas of Pakistan and bring us face-to-face with the survivors of American drone strikes.
